Dryer Repair in the Good ol' Days might have been something your Dad was willing to take a crack at but these days everything seems to have a computer board and funny gizmos to make dryers run correctly.

Maybe some of you are to young to remember the old fashioned tried and true clothes dryer of years long past.

Boy have we come a long way since then.

Todays dryers are much more sophisticated. While there are still many dryers around with the knobs you turn and the lid you pull down or open sideways.  A new breed of highly sofisticated front load dryers have hit the market. With their fancy touch controls and a front opening door that seems more like a cockpit to a space ship, these amazing behemoths can dry your clothes faster using less electricity than their earlier counterparts.

Dear ol' dad might want to take a crack at these newer machines but I wouldn't recommend it. Dryer repair these days requires specialized training , special tools and lots of experience.
